Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Bank is like that friend who's always there but never quite the life of the party. It’s got a solid 5-star hygiene rating, but the food vibe is...meh. They serve a sirloin that’s apparently decent, but who wants to risk that when they’ve run out of Atlantic Pale Ale? Like, come on guys, it's 2024, stock up. The cocktails, however, are the real MVPs here, with some reviewers saying they’re 'amazing' — maybe just stick to those.
While the staff are friendly and some dishes earn a nod, there’s a lot of 'it’s fine, I guess' going around. The Sunday carvery seems to miss the mark with potatoes that could be mistaken for hockey pucks. If you’re after a reliable place to grab a bite after a long day, you can do worse, but don’t go outta your way to queue for the roast potatoes that should definitely have been tossed in the oven longer. Just saying.
"Overall my experience and time here was good."
"The cocktails were amazing."
"Great setting, good food."
