The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Silver Cod is your classic fish and chip joint, and while the hygiene is on point, the food does little to excite the taste buds. Paul raves about the large cod being 'exquisite,' but let's be real; when was the last time you were blown away by fried fish? It’s solid enough, but it lacks the pizzazz that would make you want to drive across town for it.
Service is friendly, with staff who seem to genuinely care, but it still feels like a pit stop rather than a destination. If you’re after a quick chippy fix, you won't go hungry. Just don’t expect to have your socks knocked off. The chips might even be the best part, but that’s not saying much. 🍟
