Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Monkey Puzzle is where you go for a good meal and a bit of an adventure. It’s got a three-star hygiene rating, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying T-bone steaks that Neil swears are amazing. With a menu boasting everything from mac and cheese to chicken wings, it’s a family-friendly spot that welcomes both kids and dogs. Just don’t expect a speed service – it’s all about taking it easy here.
However, not everyone has had a flawless experience. Rebecca found the service lacking, with a staff member who could use a lesson in politeness. If you’re brave enough to venture in, you might just find that the food is worth the wait, but keep your fingers crossed for a pleasant encounter with the staff. The atmosphere is casual and fun, making it a great place to unwind after a long day.
