Lakeside Restaurant could be the perfect spot if they could just get their act together. The location is lovely, but the service and food quality are a mixed bag. One minute you’re slurping on a delightful Devon cream tea, the next you’re left waiting an eternity for someone to notice your existence. The staff seem like they’ve mastered the art of avoidance, especially during busy hours.
While the food can hit the right notes, the inconsistent service can swing from delightful to downright dreadful. You might get a lovely roast one day and a lackluster cream tea the next. If they could just keep up that ‘excellent’ vibe consistently, we could be raving about this place. But right now, you're rolling the dice on your dining experience.
