Captain Jacks is that classic beach pub you can’t help but love—even if it’s a bit rough around the edges. Sharon loves the atmosphere, and Antony’s Hunter’s chicken is apparently a hit, sorted out by the ever-helpful Joe. Ryan thinks it’s dog-friendly and a solid spot for a post-beach feed. But beware, as iDRONE’s experience had him questioning whether the starters were microwaved and not cooked to order. Still, if you’re in Woolacombe, this place might just hit the spot after your surf. Hygiene score? A shiny 5, which is more than you can say for some places. 🍺
