The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Dobbies Garden World is like that relative who’s great at gardening but serves you microwaved meals at family gatherings. The garden centre is pristine, but the restaurant is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Sure, the Christmas display might get you in the festive spirit, but waiting ages for a table is a different kind of holiday spirit. While the staff are friendly, they seem more overwhelmed than a deer in headlights during a traffic jam, which doesn’t help when you’re starving.
If you're just looking for a quick bite while browsing plants, go for it. But if you're after something memorable, you might want to skip the garden grub. It’s a clean spot, but let’s be real, you’re not going to write home about the overpriced microwave meals. Better to save that for your grandma’s Sunday roast.
