Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Tim Fai is your go-to Chinese takeaway, and trust me, it’s a local favourite. Kendall Elliott swears by the Kung Pow chicken, which I can only assume is spicy enough to make you feel alive. The crispy chilli beef is a hit too, as James Scott claims it’s some of the best he’s ever had. This place has been dishing out joy to the locals, and it’s worth the drive if you happen to live a little further away.
But, hold up. It’s not all sunshine and fried rice. Louise Creaton had a slightly less pleasant experience, noting the dirty aprons and lackluster service from the young waiters. And Shannon Marie? Well, she’d rather eat plain boiled rice than suffer through another meal at Tim Fai. So, while the food seems to shine, the service might need a solid shake-up.
