The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Côte Bistro is one of those places that hits all the classic French notes without giving you a reason to sing its praises. Sure, the food is decent—steak frites and crèmant might impress, but don't kid yourself into thinking it’s the best meal of your life. The staff are friendly, especially Jake and Mohamed, who really try to elevate the experience, but sometimes it feels like a bit of a chore. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a family or casual catch-up, but with food that can sometimes miss the mark, it’s just a tad vanilla.
If you’re in the area and fancy a reliable bite, you could do worse. Just don’t go in expecting fireworks—more like a gentle spark. Perfectly fine, but also easily forgettable.
