Tier Achieved:
Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
The Waters Edge is the restaurant equivalent of a roadside pit stop—clean, but you’re not going for the food experience. The staff are friendly, with Leighton serving up an efficient bar service that’s perfect for a lunch break with the kids. The food? Well, it’s decent if you’re armed with low expectations. Maybe stick to burgers and chips, which are as safe as a seatbelt in the backseat of your mate's car.
You might find a few rickety chairs and a decor that screams 'we tried', but if you can overlook that, it’s a calm spot to grab a bite. Just don’t expect culinary fireworks—more like a fizzle.
"Quick and efficient bar service from Leighton."
"The staff were absolutely lovely right from parking in the carpark."
"Food wise basically you get what you pay for."
