Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
The Old Bakery, Didsbury is a mixed bag of brunch perfection and a side of confusion. Martha swears by the amazing cake selection and veggie breakfast, while B A is all about the hot, fresh food at great value. However, not everyone left with a smile; Lydia Gorin had a somewhat stressful experience when her order went sideways, leading to a lackluster interaction with the staff. The food has its highs, but the service can make or break your meal.
If the sun’s shining, you might want to give it a go, just be prepared for the chance of a bumpy ride. It’s a lovely space for brunch, but the consistency seems to vary.
"Lovely bakery with the most amazing cake selection."
"Best veggie breakfast! Hot, fresh and great value for money."
"A great all-rounder with fabulous staff!"
