Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Park Life Cafe - The Stables has character, but the food is more likely to make you weep than sing its praises. The building is lovely, but the service can feel like you're pulling teeth. Some dishes hit the mark while others feel like they’ve been left in the sun too long. Expect decent cakes, at least.
You might walk away feeling a bit robbed after paying for a cold burger that would make even the ducks quack in disappointment. If you’re just after a scenic pit stop, great, but don’t come here expecting a culinary revelation.
"The building dates back to 1777, and in 2025 it underwent renovations featuring décor inspired by park wildlife."
"Lovely building but I was only there for the Exhibition."
"Good food and very nice staff."
