The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Giovanni's is like that friend who always volunteers to host but never seems to have food ready when you arrive. The place claims to serve authentic Italian fare, and some dishes hit the mark while others make you wonder if they were just trying too hard. The lamb shank is apparently top-tier, and the sourdough pizza is cooked to perfection. But if you’re expecting consistency, well, good luck with that.
A fun place for celebrations, it seems the staff are friendly enough to keep things pleasant, but the service can lag when the place is packed. If you time it right, you might have an enjoyable evening, but don’t count on it being a culinary revelation. Just be prepared for some hit-or-miss moments.
