Britannic Fish Bar is a chippy that feels like it’s been around forever. Mash loves it for the crispy fish and chips, but others aren’t so keen. The cleanliness is a huge problem here, with some claiming you might as well risk a trip to the ER after eating. The portion sizes have also come under fire—Sarah Islam left feeling robbed by the small servings. If you’re in Maidstone looking for a chippy, this place might be worth a shot, but be prepared for some hit-or-miss experiences.
