Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
So, Pips is the kind of place where you can grab a proper bacon butty while your clothes spin in the launderette. CloCloPuffs raved about their crispy bacon and doorstop bread for just £5.70. Seriously, how is it even possible to find a cafe that serves up the 'best BLT ever' and has a cozy book swap? Bernardine and Amitava agree that the staff are as charming as the food is fresh, with a vibe that makes you want to hang out longer than you planned. The only downside? If you’ve got a thing for posh decor, you might not be impressed. But hey, who needs Instagrammable aesthetics when you're munching on epic cheese toasties and sipping a flat white?
"Best BLT ever 💓"
"Couldn't fault the bacon butty and latte"
"A very kind and jovial lady running the cafe"
