Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Gong cha is your typical bubble tea joint. It’s spacious, it’s got decent drinks, and the staff are mostly friendly. Victoria and her crew found the drinks came out quick and tasty, with some fun options like the milk foam matcha strawberry milk tea. But then there’s the downside—Wilson found the quality of the tea dropping fast, and Sharon had a frustrating time waiting for her order with just one guy working the shop.
Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick bubble tea fix, but you’ll want to hope it’s not their busy hour. It's like waiting for a bus; you might be in luck or standing there forever. If you get the right drink, it’s a sweet win, but don’t be surprised if you leave feeling a tad underwhelmed.
"Our drinks arrived quickly and they tasted better than usual!"
"Did not look like the picture in the screen, however, it was really good."
"The place has a few seating places. The service is excellent."
