Tier Achieved:
For the mildly adventurous. Non-zero chance of the 💩s.
Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Fung Lok is the casual Chinese eatery that’s equal parts good food and questionable hygiene. The three-course lunch is a steal for the price, but don't get too comfy—this place has seen better days. The egg-fried rice is a shining star, while some fried mains taste like they’ve been sleeping in the batter for too long.
Friendly staff do their best to serve you, but it can’t mask the shabby surroundings. If you’re feeling brave, this could be your next food adventure. Just be prepared to roll the dice on taste and cleanliness.
"Nice 3 course 'businessman's lunch' at a reasonable price."
"Best Chinese restaurant in Liverpool."
