The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Lit African Cuisine By Zee is a bit of a mixed bag. Frederick was all praises, saying they saved his night with some last-minute food. Miracle couldn’t get enough of the jollof and BBQ wings, calling them life-changing. But then there's the darker side, with some patrons like Christian and Shizan feeling ripped off after receiving tiny portions on their takeaway orders. Geraldine had a bit of a kerfuffle over their reservation policy, which seems a tad ridiculous.
There's definitely a spark of goodness here, but if you’re dining in, make sure to manage your expectations. The atmosphere is lovely, but if they keep cutting corners with portion sizes, it might be time to sort out their takeaway game. Come for the experience, stay for the jollof, but keep your eye on the serving sizes.
