The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Shokupan pulls off a solid range of Japanese sandwiches that are a welcome change from the usual lunch fare. The chicken katsu sando seems to be the star of the show, praised for its crispy goodness and fluffy bread. Jensen wasn’t wrong calling it a delightful bite.
However, be prepared for a bit of a wait during lunchtime rush hours; this place is a hotspot. If you can dodge the crowds, you might just find a cozy spot to enjoy one of their authentic creations. But beware of the occasional reviewer who found the place closed during operating hours—that’s a big no-no in my book.
