Power, Corruption And Lies serves up a mix of tasty bites and a buzzing atmosphere, but it’s not exactly the next hot spot on your Instagram feed. Heather Bennett had a blast with the food and music, especially praising DJ Oisin, who clearly knows how to get the party going. It’s one of those places where the food is good, but not life-changing; think of it as your reliable takeout with a side of nightlife.
The seating is limited and can feel cramped, but the cocktails are tasty enough to help you forget that. As Alex Casey pointed out, the dim sum and bao buns are pretty decent, but you’re probably not heading here for a Michelin experience.
