Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
McDonald's Gipton is about as thrilling as a soggy cardboard box. Sure, the hygiene is spot on - a solid 5/5 - but the food and service? A bit like a third-rate romcom: predictable and occasionally cringe-worthy. Andy, the assistant manager, might charm the socks off you, but that won't save you from the disappointment of a dry Big Mac or the haunting memory of a forgotten fry.
The only real excitement comes from the grim realities of fast food life: missing toppings, botched orders, and a general atmosphere of chaos that could rival a toddler's birthday party gone wrong. So, if you fancy a game of 'Who Can Leave with the Most Incorrect Order?', this McDonald's is your playground. Otherwise, you might want to steer clear unless you're in dire need of fries (and even then, make sure you're ready to negotiate).
"Customer service was exemplar again Andy at Leeds store."
"When we order burgers, they are ok with the ketchup and sometimes the mustard, but the pickles and onion are severely lacking."
"I am absolutely disgusted."
