π The Playhouse Square, St Peters Street, Leeds, LS2 7UP
Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Leeds Playhouse isnβt just a theatre; itβs a full-on experience. If youβre lucky enough to catch A Christmas Carol, youβll see Reece Dinsdale as Scrooge deflate capitalism with a side of ghostly shenanigans. Plus, the audience was mostly school kids who added a delightful chaos to the performance. And let's not forget the efficient service at the refreshment areas - minimal queues mean more time for snacks and less for awkward small talk.
The venue itself is spacious with decent seating views, though it can get packed. Thankfully, the parking situation at Victoria Gate is a breeze. Honestly, everything seems to tick along nicely, making it a reliable choice for an evening out. Just remember, itβs a theatre, not a Michelin star restaurant, but it does what it says on the tin: great shows and good vibes. πβ¨
