Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
John Charles Centre For Sport is basically a sports complex that somehow decided it could also serve food. Noah Cooke had a blast at a gala—though it was a bit nippy in the pool, so bring a sweater if you're planning to swim. The tennis courts and staff get plenty of props, but the food situation seems about as organized as a toddler’s birthday party. Lots of positive vibes floating around from those enjoying the facilities, but the café is where things take a nosedive.
James Marshall found the coffee decent, but the cleanliness left much to be desired, with dirty toilets at 9:30 am. And Ian Major had a rather unpleasant experience with the changing rooms that could make anyone hesitate to come back. If you’re hungry, maybe pack a lunch instead.
"The gala was fantastically organised."
"Excellent facilities, plenty of courts."
"Great coaches. Perfect waiting area."
