Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Skylon Restaurant is one of those places that tries hard to impress, and for the most part, it does. The staff, particularly Renata, are on point, making you feel like royalty while you sit by the Thames. We’ve got smoked salmon, shepherd’s pie, and sticky date pudding making the rounds, but don’t get too comfortable—the food is solid but nothing that'll change your life. The vibe is a bit ‘fine dining meets awkward family reunion,’ but at least the views are nice.
However, if you’re thinking about catching a show after dinner, be prepared for a wait. One diner mentioned they barely made it to their theatre performance because their meal took ages. It’s all well and good being in a fancy spot, but a slow kitchen might just kill your vibe. So, if you’re in the mood for a view and decent grub, go ahead. Just don’t bring your watch unless you want to stress out about your next appointment.
