Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Ivy Chelsea is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, you have the stunning interior and lovely service from Nadia, who sounds like she could charm the pants off a statue. Assel Singh celebrated an anniversary here, and from the sounds of it, the ambiance is a big draw, especially for afternoon tea. But let’s be real, the food is just... fine. The desserts are on the sweeter side, and some dishes like the arancini taste like they’ve been in the freezer longer than my last relationship. If you’re looking for a picturesque spot for tea, fine. But for a substantial meal? You might want to look elsewhere.
"Nadia was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely sweet."
"If you’ve ever had the thought of even trying afternoon tea, this is the spot."
"The ambience alone made the experience feel magical."
