Benihana Restaurant is where hibachi dreams go to become reality—or sometimes a frustration. Celebrating a wedding anniversary? You’ll likely feel like royalty, but if you’re just trying to grab a quick bite, you might face a long wait. Laís felt like a queen, thanks to the attentive staff and the chef’s flair. But then you’ve got Ben Sabet who was left hungry for 45 minutes, which is a culinary crime in my book.
The showmanship of the chefs is entertaining, and the food is fresh, but if you’re not in it for the experience, you might find yourself twiddling your thumbs. It’s a fun spot for families, but just remember: if you’re in a rush, you could be left waiting for a table to fill up before you even see a plate.
