The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Yak and Yeti has a solid reputation for Nepalese food, and if you’re in the area, it’s not a bad shout. George raves about the flavor and spice in every dish, while Clara was all about that black lentil and beans Dahl vibe. It’s big enough for a birthday bash, and Sujat must be a culinary wizard, given the love he’s getting from fans. But don’t get too comfy—some folks think it’s a touch too westernized, and the decor is more ‘meh’ than marvelous.
Despite the hype, a few critics like Marc and Ariel felt the food fell short of true authenticity. Still, if you’re after good value and a friendly atmosphere, you might just enjoy your visit. Just keep your expectations in check; this isn’t going to change your life.
