🏠 TOG Cafe, Ground Floor York House, 221 Pentonville Road, N1 9UZ
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
TOG Cafe is the kind of place that feels like a hug in the morning, especially when those puff puff doughnuts are involved. Seriously, Michelle Garner wasn’t lying when she said they are addictive. Teesha Grant raves about the Jollof and seafood boil, and honestly, who wouldn’t want to spend hours there chilling with Netflix and some amazing tunes? The vibe's so relaxed, it’s practically begging you to grab a seat and make it your new go-to.
But let’s not sugarcoat everything. Sophia Raja did raise a valid point about the pricing; £10 for two cupcakes? That's robbery, especially when locals are casually raving about cheaper options. And as for the decor, it’s boutique-sized but lacks a toilet. So, if you’re planning a long stay, maybe think twice about that extra coffee. Overall, TOG Cafe is comfy and cares about good service, but the prices might just make you reconsider your next cup of joe.
