🏠 Caffe Nero @ Selby's, 384-400 Holloway Road, London, N7 6PN
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Caffe Nero at Selby's is your average chain café, like that friend who’s always reliable but doesn’t bring anything exciting to the table. Hana and her crew love it for the warm atmosphere and friendly baristas, especially Sophie, who’s got that radiant smile that could brighten any day. It’s a decent spot to grab a quick babychino with the kids or a mocha with cream, but don’t expect culinary fireworks. Some patrons, like Caïna, have had mixed feelings about the hidden location and rushed service. The coffee’s fine, but you’ll have to navigate some lackluster food options and the occasional dirty table.
In short, it’s not bad, but it’s definitely not memorable. You come for the coffee, stay for the vibe, and forget about it the moment you leave.
"Our family favourite cafe."
"I was very impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere."
"The delightful barista... is always super smiley."
