🏠 Caffe Nero, 75 Upper Street, London, N1 0NU
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Caffe Nero is the classic chain café that’s like that reliable friend you call when you want a chill afternoon with decent coffee. It’s got comfy sofas, good vibes, and a bit of a space to work; perfect if you need to crank out some emails or just scroll Instagram. The peach roulade might not be a hit with everyone, but at least the chouxnuts keep you coming back for sugar highs. The staff, like the friendly ones I met, seem to really make an effort to keep the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant.
While the food may not be groundbreaking, the cleanliness and cozy environment save the day. So, if you’re after a casual meetup with friends or a place to sip lattes, this Caffe Nero gets the job done without any of the usual drama. Just be prepared for those pastries that are hit or miss. Oh, and make sure there’s a plug nearby if you plan to work; charging your phone shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt.
"They got a couple plugs in the walls if you're positioned right."
"The interior is absolutely beautiful—cozy, warm, and perfect for relaxing."
"We love Caffè Nero and this branch is one of the best."
