Caffe Nero is basically the coffee shop equivalent of your dependable mate who always shows up but never causes a stir. Chris is all about that pistachio latte and croissant combo, while others find it a fun pit-stop on Chiswick High Road. The decor? Let’s just say it’s not winning any beauty contests right now, but hey, at least the coffee’s good.

David found the whole vibe relaxing, even if Mominah thought her cappuccino was a snooze fest. The staff seem friendly enough, but if you want engaging conversation, you might as well chat up the barista’s tip jar instead. It’s clean, it’s safe, and it does the job, but if you’re after the caffeine equivalent of a wild night out, keep looking. You’re not going to find it here.
