Blugate Restaurant is kind of like that friend who’s always down for a good time but sometimes leaves you wanting more. They’ve got a hygiene rating of 5 and a Google score of 4.2, which isn’t bad. Ashanti was all about the fresh food and good vibes, while Burak raved over the lamb soup and liver. Sounds like a solid start, but things took a turn when Tyai noted some cold chicken and overpowering orange powder on the chips.
M O felt let down by the dry salad, and K C had a full-on ‘what even is this’ moment when half the table left hungry. Daisy’s burger was more of a sad sandwich than a signature dish. So, if you're in the area, Blugate might be worth a shot, but don't expect to be blown away.
