Vine Leaves Taverna is living off its past glory, and while Beatrice swears the moussaka is the best in the world, I’m not sure I’d poke my fork at Sonia’s dried-out prawns. The service gets a thumbs up from Jayne, who appreciated the welcoming vibe, but the food's freshness? Well, that seems a bit hit or miss. Theo loved the authenticity of the dishes but felt like the atmosphere needed a glow-up.
It’s cute and cozy, with big portions that might make your wallet feel lighter than your stomach. If you're lucky, you might just hit the sweet spot of a delicious meal, but don’t be shocked if you end up with a dry calamari. It’s a gamble, folks.
