URBAN BARISTAS

Urban Baristas is a pretty decent coffee spot with a vibe that’s more chill than thrilling. The coffee is consistently amazing, and Ahmed R. Al-Absi will back me up on that. They recently switched out their chocolate chip cookie for a triple chocolate one, which has been getting some love. But, brace yourself for that Bondi Burrito, which Tatyana Rutherston found to be as flavorful as cardboard. The staff seem friendly enough, unless you catch them in a chatty mood, like Kamari K, who had to remind them about his tea order.

In short, this place serves up solid brews and decent pastries in a cozy space, but don’t expect to have your taste buds blown away. If you want a relaxing spot for coffee and a catch-up, you could do worse. Just steer clear of the bland burrito and questionable service.
