Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Macbeth Cafe is the ultimate mixed bag, serving up a blend of education and mediocre grub. You’ve got Tania charming the pants off students learning Italian, while others are left pondering their life choices when it comes to the food. Kim noticed a bit too much of a 'pally' vibe among the staff, which can be a turn-off, especially when the toilets are an absolute disaster. It's a place that thrives on its educational aspects, but the cafe side? Not so much.
You might pop in for a course and leave with a sandwich that feels like it was made last week. If you’re here for the learning, you’ll get a solid experience, but if you’re looking for a bite to eat, you might want to keep your expectations in check. Just ask Mark about his sandwich foil challenges—good luck getting a decent meal.
"What a fantastic place! I am currently doing the Italian for beginners course and I am absolutely delighted with it!"
"I do think there was a pally culture which put me off & don't get me started about the toilets??"
"The dude is super nice and helpful, as well as his crew."
