Joe's Brasserie feels like that slightly posh friend who always knows the best places to eat but still manages to keep it casual. The food is solid, with a commendable wine tasting room and specials that keep it fresh. The burger might just change your life, or at least your lunchtime plans, and the duck liver pâté? Pure indulgence.
While the staff—Marco, Jack, and Charli—are doing their best to keep the vibe alive, not everyone’s experience has been golden. That rude welcome could use a bit of polish. Overall, it's decent enough for a cozy evening, but don't expect it to knock your socks off.
