Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Gail's Bakery is like that friend who's fun to hang out with but always seems to have a drama. Sure, they whip up an almond croissant that’ll send your taste buds to heaven, but good luck if you want anything else. Multiple reviews hit the nail on the head with complaints about cold coffee and stale pastries. I mean, who’s running the show here? The bakery police? Don't even get me started on the toilet situation—one reviewer described it as grimy enough to induce nightmares.
On the bright side, when the pastries hit the mark, they really hit the mark. Just be prepared for a bit of a rollercoaster ride with the staff, who seem to have an off day more often than not. If you’re in for a coffee, maybe keep your expectations low, but if you're craving that flaky almond croissant, just hope it hasn't been sitting out too long.
"Such delicious pastries! The almond croissant is my absolute favorite."
"Do not miss the experience, very tasty varieties of croissants, bread and wonderful toast."
"The coffees were cold, and it took quite a long time to get them."
