Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Askew Cafe is a little gem in London that has its moments. Jayson Pannell raves about the breakfast, even without the black pudding, and Lee Kempo swears it’s still the best after 20 years. The staff seem to genuinely care, with Courtney Williams pointing out how they go above and beyond for everyone, especially regulars. It’s like a community hub where you can enjoy a solid meal.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. SLITTHEGOBLIN had a nightmare with food poisoning and tinned curry for nearly ten quid. That’s a hard pass. Matt Johnston echoes the sentiment of disappointment, feeling the service has really slipped. A mixed bag for sure, but if you hit it on a good day, you might just walk away satisfied.

"Went there today and it is still the best cafe in London"
"The food is amazing, the staff as I see go above and beyond"
