The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Yum Yum Thai Restaurant is right on the cusp of being delightful but falls just short of greatness. The five-star reviews are great, but the truth is, it’s your average Thai spot. Sure, they’ve got the Mango Sticky Rice that’ll make you weak in the knees, and the tofu pad Thai hits the spot, but that’s about as exciting as it gets. Turzo takes care of service, making sure you’re at least feeling welcomed.
But if you're hoping for a bustling atmosphere or the authenticity of street food, you might want to adjust your expectations. It’s comfortable enough for a casual night out, but don’t walk in thinking you’ll be transported straight to Thailand. You’re more likely to wonder if you should have just ordered takeout instead. Still, it's decent food at reasonable prices.
