Koya Ko, not to be confused with the other Koya, is holding its own with a 5-star hygiene rating, but the food can be a bit of a letdown. You’ve got the udon noodles that are serviceable if you’re in a pinch, but don’t expect a flavor bomb. The self-service vibe can feel a bit cheap, as if they’re asking you to do the work while they take the credit. It's a decent spot for a quick fix but leaves you wanting more.

If you're in the area and craving udon, it's worth a try. Just know that it’s not going to change your life. The atmosphere is pleasant enough, so if you find yourself here, just enjoy the moment and don't dive too deep into the menu.
