Clandon Golf is a golf course that offers more than just a good round; it’s a test of patience with a side of disappointment. While the course is well-kept and the greens are quick, the bunkers are a disaster area, complete with stones that could ruin your clubs faster than a bad round can ruin your day. You might enjoy the fairways, but you'll definitely be cursing the sand traps.

The clubhouse, however, seems to have been left off the renovation list. With a porta-cabin for a men’s toilet, it's safe to say that after a few hours on the course, you might prefer to hold it in. If you’re looking for a cheap round in a nice setting, Clandon Golf has potential, but don't expect luxury. Just remember to bring your own snacks and maybe a better toilet option.
