The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Taste of India is a bit of a mixed bag. The Chicken Sally Curry seems to be a star, with crispy potatoes and rich, authentic flavors winning over some fans. M Shorif couldn’t get enough of it, and neither could Barry, who was all about that amazing food and great staff vibe. But then there’s Neil, who feels like the restaurant isn’t quite what it used to be, which is a bit of a red flag. And let's not forget AAM, who had their experience marred by an unpleasant smell and rude service. So, great food for some, questionable hygiene for others.
Overall, it’s a decent spot worth a visit if you’re craving Indian, just keep your expectations in check. Maybe have a strong mint tea in hand for the possible aftertaste of disappointment just in case.
