The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Boswells Cafe is like that friend who’s nice enough but just kind of blends into the background. Jose Navarro thinks their gluten-free club sandwich is lovely, while Michelle Hawkins claims the food is tasty, but I’m not sure any of it is going to knock your socks off. Elliott Harman had a breakfast there that he was 'shocked' by in a good way, but let’s be honest, it’s not setting any culinary records.
Anil Thomas and Jo Love seem to be on the same page with their pleasant experiences, but it’s hard to shake the feeling that you’re just going there because you’re in the vicinity. The nachos with chili, according to Jane Beaven, were a total disappointment, which feels like an apt metaphor for the cafe itself—nice enough, but not particularly memorable. If you want something to sustain you between errands, go for it, but don't expect fireworks.
