The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Lighter Inn is your classic pub with a twist, drawing you in after a pleasant stroll by the water. UK Photo Journey popped in for a quick drink and ended up falling for their crispy fish & chips. Emily C had her mind blown, and Bron’s sea-bass risotto had them singing praises. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows; Dan found his burger experience to be a letdown, comparing it to a sad kids' meal.
With a couple of mixed reviews on certain dishes, it seems like this place shines in the right light but can dim after dark. If you catch it on a good day, you might just have a delightful meal, complete with friendly staff. Just be careful what you order.
