Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.

The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" โ€” not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.

Fine dining on a budget, with caveats.

The Galley Restaurant is about as close to fine dining as you can get without having to take out a second mortgage. Itโ€™s all about three-course meals that won't break the bank. Nic Allen was loving the scallops and mackerel to start, while others were singing praises for the duck and impressive soufflรฉ. The staff is apparently as attentive as a golden retriever watching over its puppies, which is a definite plus.

But if youโ€™re in the mood for robust flavors and hearty portions, you might be left wanting. John TJ mentioned the small servings and disengaged staff, which is a bit of a red flag for a place that once had a Michelin star. Itโ€™s not a total disaster, but if youโ€™re looking for a culinary symphony, you might want to adjust your expectations and bring a magnifying glass.
