Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Brewdog in Exeter is the pub equivalent of a lukewarm bath – it exists, but you're not rushing back for a soak. Sure, the burgers are decent, and the fries are solid, but it’s kind of basic for a place claiming to be a craft beer haven. The atmosphere? More like a forgettable pub than a buzzing venue.
While the staff get high fives for being friendly, it’s hard to ignore that customers have mixed feelings about the food. Some love it, others, like the unfortunate soul who fought with their wings, wish they hadn't bothered. If you're after a casual pint and some 'meh' food, this place is fine. Otherwise, keep your expectations low. 🍺😐
"The burger was perfectly cooked, the fries were excellent, and the staff is so nice!"
"I fancied trying a few beers so had the 4 beer tasting board."
"The atmosphere was electric with welcoming vibes."
