The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Bella Italia Exeter is like that friend who shows up to the party looking nice but has the personality of a soggy breadstick. It’s got the decor and the ambiance for a date night or family gathering, but the food? Well, it’s a mixed bag. Some dishes shine, like their pasta and pizza, but others fall flat like a deflated soufflé. One reviewer was all about the garlic bread and seafood pasta, while another felt like they were sitting at the kiddie table in terms of service.
The staff are friendly, and they’ll probably make you feel welcome enough, but you might find yourself waiting a bit longer than you’d like. With a few tweaks, it could go from ‘meh’ to ‘marvelous’, but for now, it’s just... vanilla. Worth a visit if you’re nearby, but don’t go out of your way.
