The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Blue Ball is the pub that tries to straddle that fine line between cozy and chaotic. Stephen Williams enjoyed a lovely steak and breakfast, while Matthew Lambert enjoyed a Christmas meal that was a hit. But as with any venue, there’s room for error; entries like Sarah Pine and Tracey J Wright found themselves disappointed with meals and service on special occasions.
The atmosphere can be inviting, but it seems that consistency is a concern. If you can hit it on a good day, you're in for a treat. If not, it might be a gamble, especially with large groups. It’s that kind of place where you might leave happy or puzzled—set your expectations accordingly.
