OAKLANDS FARM CAFE

Oaklands Farm Cafe is a pit stop that’s a bit of a mixed bag. Alice was totally taken aback by the kids’ burger and her avocado toast, calling it ‘superb’—a solid find when detouring due to road closures. Bob rolled in expecting just another farm cafe but walked out delighted by their crab sandwiches. But things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows; Luke found the service to be a bit cool, which is a polite way of saying the staff could work on their charm.

It’s a clean spot with decent food, but the vibe can be hit or miss depending on who’s serving you. Nick and June both had less than stellar customer service experiences, leaving them wondering if the staff is just a tad over it. If you’re in the area, it’ll do, but don’t expect to be greeted like royalty.
