Tier Achieved:
For the kind of person who plays with fire, knowing they might get burnt.
Great food, dodgy kitchen. You know the risks. Pack Imodium and pray.
Golden Pond is the perfect place for the brave and the hungry, where dodgy hygiene meets some surprisingly decent food. Ian Langston had a lovely time, thanks to the friendly staff and the sticky chilli beef, but letβs not ignore the elephant in the room: the 1-star hygiene rating. Helen Newsam loved the mini spring rolls, but food safety is a big deal, and a place that serves good food with a side of potential food poisoning isnβt exactly a comfort zone.
If youβre feeling daring and want to risk it for the biscuit, you might just enjoy your meal. Just remember: trusting your gut is as important as whatβs on your plate. With friendly service and good food, itβs a dangerous flame that might just spark a great dining experience... or a trip to the bathroom.
"The food was delicious, recommend the sticky chilli beef."
"Beware of mini spring rolls! They were lovely, but huge."
"Delicious food and good sized portions."
