Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Chippee is that cheeky little fish and chip shop where you roll the dice and hope for a win. Pauline's hooked on their OAP lunch deal — the fish and chips here are solid, and for under six quid, who could complain? There’s a LEGO shrine for the kids (and adults who refuse to grow up), plus the fish is reportedly fresher than a morning dew. But beware; not all trips here are golden! David and Theo weren't as lucky, with soggy chips and frozen vibes leaving them feeling less than enthused.
Dive in at your own risk; while the golden batter is a hit, it seems the quality can vary. Still, if you're willing to take a chance, you might just snag the best fish and chips you've ever had. 🍟
